


There will be risk when playing season like certain things displease them to beat again.īy tweeking major parts of the game so casual players can beat it will destory the game itself (World of Warcraft Remaster is a perfect example). Most players will finish thier first characters when season roll out since the campgain can be finish within 2 to 4 days by sticking to the main quest. What players should do is put the time into the game to finish what is require of them then go back to play what ever they want by creating a second character. The challenges will still remained the same. By catering to casual players the game will get more popular even though thier main type of players are hardcore. The game is aim at hardcore players who’re willing doing the work to get the high risk and reward prize.Īt times compaines may allow other types of players playing thier game by reducing the challenge to some degree but this is where the misconception comes into play. By adding a grind mechanic any game will have challenges to go with that like season for Diablo 4. Diablo series has always been about grinding resoruces and gear. This game isn’t for casual at all by desgin of the core mechanic that makes up the game which is “Grind”.

Once you get past level 50 it becomes a chore to level up. I am not grinding another 100+ hrs on 1 seasonal character. Being able to max level a character in 30hrs would allow you to play 2-3 characters a season for 60-80 hrs of gameplay which is around the level of commitment seasonal games expect to experience everything. Then i can make another character and play another 30 hrsĮspecially with seasons forcing you to make a new character. That is a reasonable amount of time to invest in the game for 1 build. I should be able to go from 1-100 in 30 hrs. Xp gains need to be like 5x or requirements need to be 1/5 of what they are. Right now, with how long its taking i dont want to make another character. Progression should be much faster and incentivise you to make multiple characters. 4 paragon points a day is not enough to make an impact on my character. Level 64, am able to play 2-3 hrs everyday but am struggling to go up more than a single level a day.
